"There is no system in the world or any school in the country that is better than its teachers. Teachers are the lifeblood of the success of schools."--Sir Ken Robinson
My journey towards a career in education started as a coaching position for my younger sister's volleyball team when I was a senior in high school. I knew then that teaching children was definitely what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
I graduated from Michigan State University in May of 2007 with my BA in Elementary Education. I have taught third grade for three years now, and every year brings great joy, new adventures, and a new sense of passion. In June of 2011, I began the Master of Arts in Educational Technology (MAET) program at MSU.
The purpose of this portfolio is to serve as a reflection of my journey through the MAET program. Here, you will find my resume, descriptions of the courses I took as part of the MAET program, and a showcase of the work samples from my MAET courses. I appreciate you taking the time to visit my site-- I am glad to share my work and reflections with you!
